HRCS will provide a safe, challenging, high quality learning environment focused on; high expectations of student behaviour and conduct, high quality care, guidance and support, and a relentless pursuit of excellence through expert teaching.
KS3 provides a broad and balanced range of subjects across Year 7-9, with a vocational specialism in Land-based studies. Opportunities to specialise are made available in Land-based and Languages.
KS4 option choices are reflective of the needs and interests of the students and are, wherever possible, specific to each individual year group.
Extensive enrichment opportunities provide a diverse range of clubs, activities and trips and is a compulsory element of the school week.
Students will be respectful, work hard and actively engage in all aspects of their education. They will take ownership of their learning through working independently, be committed and motivated to make exceptional progress and demonstrate resilience and perseverance during times of difficulty.

Progress rates into FE (65%) are significantly above National rates (40%).
Overall progress rates are above national and Kent Authority averages 90%+
Students are engaged and are very well prepared for the world of work.
